What to expect
Your session will take around 45 minutes to an hour, within which time we will cover all scenarios and have tons of fun!
Remember, all sessions are different, some people love taking pics but some not so much. Don't you worry — I have it covered. I love to build a rapport with my clients, to ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. So expect some really goofy moments (from myself) and oodles of giggles!
I have been doing this for 24 years and have seen it all. Not once have I failed to get a laugh out of even the most reluctant subject. Oh and I do love a challenge!
What if it rains?
Weather in Cayman can be unpredictable, but luckily I am super flexible. One thing to remember is that clouds are good! Don't panic if the sky is looking dark and moody.
Should I cancel? NO! This is a photographer's dream. That gorgeous soft light, no squinting and a little shade is a perfect scenario — trust me. This light is beautiful, the ocean blues pop and the results are stunning.
The only reason I would reschedule would be if I really feel we will get better results on another day.
What to wear…
With all those beautiful Caribbean colours, you can't go wrong with a neutral colour palette.
Avoid blacks or very dark colours and if you are thinking of the all white look, adding a few colourful accessories to break things up a little always looks great!

Oh and I always say, avoid clothes with big logos, you don't want your pictures to look out of date before you can blink!
What should you bring…
Trust me, this will be a scorcher. So, bring plenty of water to keep you hydrated.
You're definitely going to get sandy, and if you're feeling adventurous towards the end of the session, you might even fancy a little splash around. So make sure you pop a towel in your bag to de-sand and dry off after the session!
How many pictures will I receive?
You will receive between 60-80 beautifully edited images via your own online gallery. From there you may share and download till your heart’s content. Trust me you will be spoiled for choice!
I don’t offer printing — however, you may send your downloads to any lab to print and decorate your walls.
One thing to remember, make sure you download them to your desktop computer as downloading to mobile devices will compress the files.
Where are your favourite spots?
My favourite spots aren’t the predictable ones. I’d rather take you somewhere you’d never find on your own — off the usual list, and away from the backdrops you’ve already seen a hundred times.
If there’s a place you’ve been dreaming of, we’ll absolutely shoot there. But if you’re happy to take my recommendation, I’ll choose somewhere with real Cayman character and a little surprise built in.
Some of my favourite pictures have come from spots nobody would think to look for. Trust me, the best ones are worth keeping to myself until you’re standing in them.
What is the best time?
Timing is key! Cayman is very sunny and very hot! (not complaining) To ensure everyone is as comfortable as possible during the session, I usually shoot first thing in the morning before the sun gets too hot and around an hour before sundown.
If you're looking for those bright Caribbean colours morning is best, if you want that gorgeous golden light my late afternoon spot is for you!
Can you come to us?
Absolutely!
Most hotels in Cayman are very relaxed about photographers photographing their guests, although a few may ask you to let the concierge know before your shoot. If you’re staying in an Airbnb, villa, or private condo, just send me a pin and I’ll be there.
I shoot all over the island—West Bay, Seven Mile Beach, East End, Rum Point, and everywhere in between. Trust me, there are so many gorgeous little spots. And if you’re happy to take my recommendation and try somewhere a little different, I can make sure we choose somewhere with plenty of Cayman character.
